Name:legendarymadman
Birthdate:Oct 10
Geoffrey Tennant is an actor, both as a profession and in the lifestyle sense of the word. He lives and breathes theatre, or at least he did, until he had a breakdown on stage during a performance of Hamlet. It marked the end of his career, but not the end of his passion, and after extensive treatment he returned to the world of the theatre... only this time not on a festival stage but in warehouses and church basements and anywhere he could stage a show. Seven years after his breakdown, through an unlikely series of events, Geoffrey's passion beat out his madness and unexpectedly won him the position of artistic director of the very festival that ruined him.

No longer acting at the theatre, Geoffrey is now directing, having just successful mounted a production of Hamlet. His mental stability is continually in question, and for good reason: in addition to his very public breakdown and subsequent treatment, Geoffrey now sees and is very often observed talking to the ghost of his former mentor, Oliver Welles.

Geoffrey Tennant arrives on the island shortly after the end of the first season of Slings & Arrows, and thus shortly following the opening of Hamlet at the New Burbage festival.
